On Nov. 14, 1995, plaintiffs Angel Duron, a 47-year-old laborer, Ruben Duron, a 47-year-old unemployed man, and Martha Duron, a 48-year-old homemaker, were driving at the intersection of Eucalyptus and Edgemont. The plaintiffs contended that the defendant rear-ended their vehicle. The defendant contended that the plaintiffs backed-up into his lane of travel, causing the accident.
