Facts

The plaintiff, a graphics artist, sued the defendant employer for damages for alleged wrongful termination in violation of public policy, damages for past income, future income and emotional distress, as well as punitive damages. The plaintiff claimed that he was terminated in retaliation for supporting another former employee's claim of sexual harassment. The defendant argued that the termination was due to a slow workdown.

Settlement Discussions

The plaintiff demanded $1.2 million; the defendants offered $5,000.

A nonsuit was granted after close of the plaintiff's case.
