Facts

Phillip Smith was terminated from his position as an outside salesperson for Airways Freight Corporation, a freight-forwarding company based in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Smith contended that his contract was terminated improperly and that he was owed past and future commissions. He also alleged fraud.
