Facts

Brocade Communication Systems Inc. filed a patent, trade secret and copyright infringement suit against A10 Networks Inc., requesting a permanent patent injunction.

Result

The Court rejected Brocade's request for a broad injunction, instead entering a narrowly-tailored injunction against products that infringe the asserted patent claims. The Court also granted A10's motion for a new trial on patent and punitive damages, but affirmed the jury's $60M copyright damages award.
