Facts

On Dec. 13, 2005, Terrence Kelly was driving on Clinton Keith Road in Murrieta when he was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by Phu Tang while making a stop at an intersection. The impact caused Kelly's vehicle to rear-end the vehicle in front of it, causing a collisions involving two more vehicles.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Kelly filed suit against Tang, alleging motor vehicle negligence.

Damages

Kelly sought $24,189 in medical expenses.

Injuries

Kelly suffered dizziness, as well as neck, shoulder, and arm pain, a right shoulder sprain, and a supraspinatus tendon tear.

The jury awarded Kelly $3,206.
