In 1996, the plaintiff, a 35-year-old radio personality, purchased a custom-made fish tank from the defendants. While working on the tank, the lid fell on the plaintiff's face trapping his arms in the tank. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendants based on product liability and negligence.
