Facts

The plaintiff was injured on March 15, 2002, when riding his motorcycle southbound on Lone Hill in San Dimas. The defendant was traveling northbound and made a left turn in front of the plaintiff's motorcycle. At the time of the accident, the plaintiff was a single male, 31 years of age and employed as a loom operator with an earning capacity of approximately $2,000 monthly.

Settlement Discussions

The defendants made no offer. After confirming that the total liability policy limits of the defendant were a maximum of $1 million, the plaintiff filed a C.C.P. Section 998 demand for $1 million. The case was settled for that sum.

Injuries
