Plaintiff Vectren filed suit against defendant Alameda Municipal Power (AMP) for money lost when AMP was sold to Comcast.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Vectren contended that it was promised $6.3 million from AMP profits plus interest that never materialized after the sale.

Damages

Vectren claimed total damages of $10.3 million.

Result

The jury rendered a verdict in favor of AMP on all but one claim and awarded Vectren $1.9 million.
