Facts
On July 2, 1992, the plaintiff, Robin Teyechea, a 29-year-old secretary/model, was a front seat passenger in a vehicle driven by the defendant driver of the plaintiff's vehicle. The plaintiff's vehicle was traveling eastbound on Santa Monica Boulevard when it was rear ended by the defendant's, Sandra Dunphy's, vehicle. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendants based on negligence theories of recovery. The defendant driver of the plaintiff's vehicle was dismissed prior to trial without paying any monetary settlement.
