On Dec. 23, 1999, the plaintiff, a 49-year-old senior vice president and chief technical officer of a bank, was
traveling southbound on Bel Aire Drive in the number 1 lane. The defendant, who was driving a large truck
was also southbound on Bel Aire Drive, drove into northbound lanes of travel and suddenly attempted to make
a right turn hitting the plaintiffÆs vehicle. The plaintiffÆs vehicle sustained only minor property damage of
approximately $2,000.
