The plaintiff rented an apartment from the defendants at 1227 Ogden Drive in Los Angeles. On July 26, 1997, the
plaintiff was carrying her recycled items to a container provided for and placed by the defendants on the
premises. Upon placing the items in the container, plaintiff tripped and fell, sustaining injury to her knee.
