Facts

On April 3, 1989, Defendant Debra Gale Blackburn was driving her parents' (Co-defendants Phyllis and Floyd Davison) 1988 Ford Mustang, making a left turn out of a shopping center parking lot, onto northbound Chinowth Street in Visalia, colliding with Plaintiff Gabrielle Anne Tomlinson's 1986 Ford Thunderbird, which was heading southbound on Chinowth. Ms. Tomlinson was a 25-year-old certified shorthand reporter at the time.
