Injuries

The plaintiff alleged that she sustained a torn medial meniscus which required surgery after she had hit her knee against her vehicle's dashboard. She also claimed that she would develop arthritis in the knee in the future. The defendant disputed that the plaintiff injured her knee in the accident as she did not seek medical treatment for two months following the accident. The defendant also argued that hitting her knee against the dashboard was not a mechanism of injury for a meniscal tear.
