Facts

According to the plaintiff: An orthodontic patient, Deborah Rother claimed that the treatment she received from defendant Todd Gereb, D.D.S., was negligent and was not completed in a timely manner. The plaintiff received orthodontic treatment from the defendant from February 1998 to March 2001. The plaintiff alleged that she sustained damages as a result of the defendant's negligent treatment, including pain and suffering and financial loss. The plaintiff claimed that she wasted three years in braces and that after three years, the defendant had "no idea" how much longer treatment would take and what percentage of treatment he had completed.
