Facts

The defendant served as the plaintiffs' tax preparer from 1991 through 1998.
In 1997, the defendant referred the plaintiffs to an actuary to obtain advice about defined benefit plans. The
actuary set up a plan in April of 1997.
At that time, the plaintiffs asked why the defendant had not advised them about a defined benefit plan earlier.
The plaintiffs filed the lawsuit on March 22, 2000.
