The subject case involves a two car intersection collision. The plaintiffs, Mirian Rivas and Mirna Marquez, were passengers in a pick-up truck driven by the defendant Blanca Argueta (Marquez's sister). The accident occurred when the pick-up truck entered the intersection of Main and Martin Luther King in front of the path of a limousine driven by the defendant Louis Jones, a chauffeur for the defendant Dav El Los Angeles Inc.
