Facts

On Feb. 17, 2006, minor plaintiff Dylan Saffold underwent open-heart surgery at defendant Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and suffered an IV infiltration to his neck. Plaintiff and his parents Azita and Mark Safford alleged that defendant's negligence resulted in plaintiff's injuries and damages.

Neck scarring; possible scar revision.

The parties settled for $125,000.
