Facts
On September 8, 1991, Plaintiffs Saul and Joshua Luchs were involved in a vehicle accident in which their Saturn was struck in a rear end collision by a one-ton pick-up truck owned by Defendant Turbine Maintenance Corporation. Saul Luchs was a passenger and a 64-year-old urologist; Joshua Luchs was another passenger and a 22-year-old sports agent. The collision took place on westbound Martin Luther King Boulevard, in downtown Los Angeles. Defendant admitted liability. (The driver of Plaintiff's vehicle was not a party to this case; a third passenger settled prior to trial for $35,000.)
