Facts

On Sep. 30, 2002, the defendant's and the plaintiff's vehicles collided on westbound 101 freeway near the Van Nuys exit ramp. The collision caused the plaintiff to veer right and strike the guard rail. The plaintiff contended that the defendant was negligent in clipping the front of the plaintiff's vehicle as she exited the freeway. The defendant settled the claim after discovery.
