Facts

On May 9, 1990, Plaintiff, a 42-year-old cable splicer for Southern California Edison was working in an underground vault on an oil switch manufactured by Defendant. An explosion occurred.

Plaintiff contend there were no settlement discussions prior to this agreement.

Injuries

Second and third degree burns over 34% of his body requiring skin graft on the right knee and expensive burn treatment.

Other Information

Medical cost and current lost of earnings were a total of $125,000 paid by workers comp (lien wage).
