PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiffs accused the movie studio of undercutting profits from home video sales. Defendant allegedly miscalculated money owed to plaintiffs and a class of profit participants by only including 20 percent of the revenue generated from home video sales even though the contracts require defendant to include 100 percent of that revenue.
Result
The parties reached a $26 million settlement, which received final approval from the court.
