Facts

On August 9, 1991, Defendant surgeon Gil Mileikowsky cut a hole in Plaintiff's bowel while performing laparoscopic laser surgery for endometriosis. Plaintiff was Kathryn Arndt, a 35-year-old teacher at the time.
