Facts

On October 12, 1991, Plaintiff, a 32-year-old unemployed welder, arrived at Defendant's premises. Plaintiff arrived between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon to invite his friend, Defendant's employee, to breakfast. It was a Saturday, and several employees were repairing Defendant's roof. The commercial business was closed to the public. Plaintiff entered the property, climbed up a forklift to the roof, walked approximately 15 feet, and fell through a skylight.

Defendant contends they made no offers and Plaintiff originally demanded $100,000 reduced to $60,000 at the beginning of trial.
