Plaintiff Scott Santiago, a 46-year-old maintenance worker, was employed by the defendant County of Sonoma for 12 years when he began to experience harassment by defendant Hamo Sega, the plaintiff's co-worker. The plaintiff claimed that defendant Sega taunted him with sexual remarks and physically threatened him. The plaintiff alleged that he reported the behavior to his supervisors, but the problem continued. The plaintiffs, husband and wife, brought this action against the defendants based on sexual harassment, intentional infliction of emotional distress and loss of consortium theories of recovery.
