Facts
Three female employees, ages 30 to 40 years, were employed by Defendant corporation for 2.5 to 4 years in clerical, public relations, and managerial positions. All three were fired between mid 1992 and January of 1993.
Settlement Discussions
Plaintiffs contend they demanded $800,000 and Defendants initially offered a $150,000 package; increased to $200,000; then $350,000 and $450,000.

Other Information
One Plaintiff with hostile-environment claim (only), also filed a Workers' compensation claim related to having been held up at gunpoint, while she was an employee. A psychiatric report attributed 90% (while still at work) of her stress to the robbery and 60% (once she left Defendant's employ). She recovered $20,000 compensation claim and $20,000 medical costs in addition to her portion of this hostile environment settlement.
