Facts

Plaintiff, a 48-year-old county insurance employee, had a full upper denture and had consulted Defendant dentist in an effort to save her remaining 8 lower teeth. On December 15, 1992, Defendant dentist extracted 4 (allegedly) periodontally involved lower incisors. This left Plaintiff with only her lower cuspids and first bicuspids. Defendant then prepared and cemented a 10-unit bridge which failed.
