From August 1992 through February 1995, the plaintiff, a 33-year-old respiratory therapist, was employed by the defendant company. On Jan. 30, 1995, the defendant employee/supervisor of the defendant company allegedly sexually assaulted the plaintiff. The plaintiff reported the incident to the defendant company. After the plaintiff reported the incident, the defendant company allegedly reduced the plaintiff's hours considerably. The plaintiff claimed she was forced to seek employment elsewhere. She resigned her position with defendant company. The plaintiff brought this action against her former employer and the alleged harasser based on wrongful termination and sexual harassment theories of recovery.
