Facts

The plaintiff worked as a female security guard for the defendant security guard company from Oct. 1, 1997 through Jan. 30, 1998. The plaintiff alleged that the defendant supervisor sexually harassed her by visiting her both at the job site and telephoning her at home. This alleged sexual harassment took the form of asking the plaintiff out on a date, asking her to be the supervisor's girlfriend and comments concerning her body and figure. The plaintiff alleged that this sexual harassment created a hostile working environment for her. The plaintiff claimed emotional distress and punitive damages against the defendant company.
