Facts

On Jan. 9, 1998, the plaintiff, a white, 52-year-old public school superintendent from defendant high school district, alleged that he was fired and his contract was terminated by a newly-elected Latino majority of the school board led by its new president. The plaintiff claimed the board president also demanded that plaintiff terminate a number of white administrators, and he refused to do it.

Damages

The plaintiff lost his contract benefits, his retirement benefits and suffered emotional distress damages.
