ostectomy. The plaintiff waited approximately one year, then consulted with the defendant, a board certified
orthopedic surgeon. The defendant recommended a McBride bunionectomy which is a soft tissue procedure.
The plaintiff agreed to undergo the surgery, but the bunion recurred.
