Facts
On April 29, 1998, the defendant was operating his Lincoln Towncar along Riverside drive in North Hollywood.
As he passed the plaintiffÆs taxi, which was parked along the curb waiting to pick-up a passenger, the
defendantÆs right exterior mirror whacked into the plaintiffÆs left exterior mirror, resulting in both mirrors being
knocked off each car.
The defendant died before trial from causes unrelated to this accident.

The plaintiff demanded $25,000. The defendant made no offer.

The plaintiff awarded zero for medical specials; $150 for general damages for his inconvenience in having to take his car for repair; $150 to replace his mirror and $210 in one dayÆs lost wages as a taxi driver.
