Facts

Ruckus Wireless Inc. sued Netgear Inc. and Rayspan Corp. in a patent infringement claim. Ruckus alleged that the two defendants breached a technology-license agreement and shared the company's trade secrets with a rival. Netgear asserted that Ruckus' claims should be brought under California law, and not in federal court.

Result

A federal court dismissed Ruckus' breach-of-contract and trade-secrets claims against Netgear.
