Facts

Jing Wu and Xin Wu sued Dale Chen, involving allegations of legal malpractice.

Contentions

PLAINTIFFS' CONTENTIONS: Defendant allegedly caused the total loss of a divorce case, causing plaintiff's damages in the amount of $306,000.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: Defendant demurred, challenging the sufficiency of plaintiffs' allegations. Plaintiffs accused defendant of causing the total loss of a divorce case and other alleged causes of action. However, plaintiffs failed to state facts supporting the causes of action. Defendant contended that plaintiffs had filed three other complaints against him, all of which had been disposed of in favor of defendant. Hence, defendant contended that this court should likewise dispose of this instant case in his favor.

Damages

Plaintiffs sought $306,000 in total damages.

Result

The court sustained Chen's demurrer without leave to amend.
