Facts

After an alleged slip and fall that occurred on Jan. 10, 2015, plaintiff sued the City of Los Angeles and Los Angeles Dept. of Water and Power for dangerous condition of public property and ABJO Limited Partnership for negligence.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff contended that she slipped on a fell on a metal cover that was owned and maintained by LADWP and which had been placed over a section of a public sidewalk/driveway near property owned by ABJO.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: ABJO contended in its motion for summary judgment that the city and LADWP admitted ownership of the cover and that it did not own, maintain, control or possess the public sidewalk upon which the alleged dangerous condition was located.

Result

The court granted ABJO's motion.
