Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: The commission alleged that the plant warned its women employees not to become pregnant. Defendant also allegedly threatened to terminate the women if they did not comply with the mandate. Further, the commission argued that the plant refused to rehire or reinstate women to their former positions after childbirth.

DEFENDANTS' CONTENTIONS: Defendant denied the allegations.

Result

The parties agreed to settle for $110,000.
