Brett Stettner sued the Pasadena Meadows Nursing Center in relation to Norman Stettner's death.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF’S CONTENTIONS: Brett claimed that when Norman was a patient at the nursing center he did not receive a timely diagnosis and proper treatment, among other things, for fever he contracted, which was accompanied by a lethargic feeling. Brett argued that, as a result, Norman experienced an untimely death.

DEFENDANTS’ CONTENTIONS: The nursing center moved to dismiss arguing that Brett failed to timely amend his complaint.

Result

The nursing center’s motion was granted.
