Facts

Humberto Flores filed applications for disability insurance benefits and supplemental security income. Flores' applications were denied both initially and on reconsideration. Flores requested a hearing in front of an administrative law judge. The ALJ found that Flores was not disabled and denied his applications. Flores then filed suit against Nancy Berryhill in relation to the denial of his applications and the finding that he was not disabled.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff contended that the ALJ failed to properly weight the treating physician's opinion, and properly assess plaintiff's credibility.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: Defendant contended that the ALJ made did not err when he determined that the plaintiff was not disabled, and therefore denied plaintiff's applications.

Result

The court affirmed the defendant's decision to deny plaintiff's applications for benefits and in finding that plaintiff was not disabled.
