Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Plaintiffs contended that defendant's background checks did not comply with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Specifically, plaintiffs claimed that the background check forms had unnecessary language and asked for applicant's personal information.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: Defendant denied the contentions.

Result

The parties reached a settlement agreement for approximately $2 million.
