Janet Moore filed suit against Michael Burg, M.D., John F. Biello, M.D.; Community Regional Medical Center, Steven Wayne Booker, M.D., Patrick Yunkee Kan, M.D., and Kaiser Permanente in relation to medical treatment of her husband, Ronald Moore received after being involved in an airplane crash.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTION: Plaintiff alleged causes of action for general negligence, malpractice, and wrongful death. Plaintiff contended that defendants' treatment of Ronald fell below the standard of care. Plaintiff further contended that defendants failed to to properly treat, diagnose and render appropriate medical care to decedent causing his death.

DEFENDANTS' CONTENTIONS: Defendants denied the allegations and asserted various affirmative defenses.

Result

The court granted defendants' motion for summary judgment finding that plaintiff failed to meet her burden of presenting evidence that would present a triable issue of material fact.
