Tammy Cameron filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against the County of Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department in relation to an arrest warrant issued for Cameron.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Cameron claimed that the county and a sheriff's detective violated her civil rights by causing an arrest warrant to be issued for a robbery she did not commit.

DEFENDANTS' CONTENTIONS: Defendants disputed the contentions.

Result

The parties reached a settlement agreement by which defendants agreed to pay $75,000 to Cameron to settle her claims.
