Plaintiff Altan Hamlet brought suit against San Joaquin Memorial High School in relation to a fall that occurred at a football game.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: The minor plaintiff, age 2, slipped through the school's metal bleachers during a footbal game organized and run by defendants American Youth Football. The minor plaintiff fell through a large gap between the hand rails, falling approximately 10 feet to the ground and struck his head causing serious injury. Plaintiff contended that defendants were negligent.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: The defendants neither admitted nor denied the allegations.

Result

The parties settled the claim for $62,500.
