Plaintiff Yolanda Jimenez-Jativa filed suit against BYD Coach and Bus LLC in relation to plaintiff's termination from employment.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff contended that she was wrongfully terminated and discriminated against. Plaintiff alleged ten causes of action including sex discrimination, and discrimination based on disability.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: Defendant filed a demurrer and alleged that plaintiff's causes of action were barred because they cannot be asserted against non-employer individuals.

Result

The court sustained the demurrer to all causes of action without leave to amend.
