Contentions
CLAIMANTS' CONTENTIONS: Claimants contended that Thompson churned their account with excessive trading and failed to send them written confirmations of each transaction. They also contended Danelian and TD Ameritrade failed to adequately supervise Thompson. Claimants asserted causes of action for violation of FINRA rules 3000 et seq, 2360(b), suitability, failure to supervise, elder abuse, and fraud.
RESPONDENTS' CONTENTIONS: Respondents denied the contentions.
Result
The panel of arbitrators recommended expungement of the arbitration matter because they found the claims were false.
