Mariluna Mostacero filed suit against the County of Los Angeles and Allen J. Martin Park in relation to an incident in which she suffered injuries in the park.
Contentions
PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Mostacero claimed she was visiting the park and fell through a gap in bleachers next to the baseball diamond, causing her to suffer injuries. Mostacero alleged defendants were negligent in their maintenance of the facilities and their negligence led to her injuries.
DEFENDANTS' CONTENTIONS: Defendants neither admitted nor denied the allegations.
Result
The parties reached a settlement under which defendants agreed to pay $80,000 to settle Mostacero's claims.
