On Oct. 17, 2018, plaintiff entered into a consulting contract with defendant. On July 23, 2019, plaintiff filed a lawsuit against defendant over dispute with the consulting contract.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff contended that defendant breached the contract by failing to pay the amount due under the contract.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: Defendant contended that the contract was invalid. Individually named defendants contended that they were not parties the contract because the corporate defendant was not an alter ego.

Result

The parties reached a settlement agreement. Defendant agreed to pay plaintiff $66,576 to settle plaintiff's contract claim.
