Facts

Plaintiff Abhijit Prasad filed a lawsuit against clinical psychologist Bram Fridhandler that involved an alleged breach of contract.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff contended he entered into a written contract with the defendant in order for defendant to provide evaluation services to the plaintiff with regard to plaintiff's divorce. Plaintiff contended the defendant failed to provide any evaluation services even after being paid. Plaintiff contended defendant failed to file paperwork needed as required by their contract and failed to provide progress reports. Further plaintiff contended defendant fraudulently induced plaintiff into entering into the contract, based on deceit and misrepresentation of the defendant.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: Defendant denied plaintiff's contentions and filed a demurrer.

Result

The court sustained defendant's demurrer.
