Robert Kramer filed a class action lawsuit against his former employer, Lumber Liquidators, Inc., claiming multiple Labor Code violations as well as Private Attorneys General Act and Business & Professions Code violations.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff contended that Defendant did not compensate him and other similarly situated employees for engaging in non-exempt tasks resulting in over 40 hours of work a week in violation of overtime wage laws.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: Defendant denied the contentions.

Result

The court approved a $4.75 million settlement between the parties.
