Plaintiffs Judy Lage and Brenda Hicks purchased a 2017 F-Pace Jaguar from defendant Jaguar Land Rover North America LLC. Plaintiffs filed a product liability lawsuit against defendant.

Contentions

PLAINTIFFS CONTENTIONS: Plaintiffs contended that the vehicle experienced various defects and defendant violated the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act. Plaintiffs sought refund of the full purchase price.

DEFENDANT CONTENTIONS: Defendant denied the allegations and raised the defenses of failure to state a cause of action, no privity of contract, no timely revocation of acceptance, and misuse, abuse, improper maintenance.

The parties stipulated to dismiss the case.
