Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff contended that defendant's products contained the toxic chemical DEHP. Plaintiff also contended that defendant knew DEHP was outlawed by proposition 65 and failed to provide adequate warnings about its products' toxicity to consumers.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: Defendants denied the contentions.

Result

Defendant agreed to a $2,000 civil penalty, $20,500 in attorneys fees and to reformulate its products.
