Contentions
PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff Lobo alleged that he was subjected to discrimination and retaliation because of his age and national origin, and was forced to resign.
DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: Defendant Intel Mobile denied all of plaintiff's allegations. Defendant contended that plaintiff Lobo was a poor performer who was counseled by his managers regarding his need to improve and that plaintiff chose to resign after he was presented with a corrective action plan.
Settlement Discussions
Up to trial, Plaintiff demanded $9.9 million.
Result
The jury found in favor of Defendant Intel Mobile on all claims, including finding there was no discrimination. Judgment in favor of Intel Mobile was entered in full.
